Who We Are

We are a Charitable Pre-School managed by an elected committee. We are situated in a dedicated Pre-school unit on the grounds of Isleham Primary School. We open every weekday and operate a lunch club. Children have access to a secure enclosed outdoor play area. We also run a weekly toddler group in the village hall.

We aim to enhance the development and education of pre-school children in the Isleham and surrounding villages in a safe, secure and stimulating environment, ensuring equality of opportunity for all. We believe in individual care and attention, fun, friendship, support, learning through play and working in partnership with parents and carers.

What We Give You
  • A specially tailored curriculum leading to the six areas of learning
  • Individual care and attention made possible by the high ratio of adults to children (max 1:6)
  • The support of a personal Key Worker
  • Close liaison with the school ensuring a smooth transition into reception class
  • A safe, secure and stimulating environment
  • Fun and friendship with children and other adults
Isleham Under Fives Association has recently been awarded Stage 3 of the Pre-school Learning Alliance accreditation award "Aiming for Quality". Isleham is the first pre-school in Cambridgeshire to have worked through all three stages of the revised scheme for first time accreditation.
