Session Guide
The following guide is based on a morning session. It is only a guide, not enforced. Children starting school the following September will attend specialised afternoon sessions during the spring and summer terms (view details)

Children arrive find their names, choose their first activity and say goodbye to their parent/carer . Manager and leader check door during this time and register is completed.

Weather permitting, door is opened to allow outside activities. Staff rotate inside/outside play.

Children come inside, tidy up

Everyone sits on carpet. Register taken. Storytime.
Names shown, phonetically sounded and clapped and children wash hands then sit at tables for their snack.

Show and tell/news time in small groups

All sit in a circle for song time

Children booked in for lunch club sit at lunch tables and look at books with a member of staff while coats and "treasures" are given out to the children going home.
11:15
A senior member of staff accompanies 2 children at a time to the door and ensures the children are placed into the care of their parent/carer.
A 16 place lunch club is available daily. 11:15-12:15
Parents/carers provide their children with a snack, which we ask to be healthy.A drink of milk or water is provided at snack time. A water cooler is fitted in the kitchen and children can ask for a drink of water at any time.
Children may bring their "treasures" such as a favourite toy to school where they are kept safe in a special box.
